Towards Sustainable Business> Good Practices in Business Model, Risks and Opportunities Reporting in the EU

EFRAG has published the final report of the project task force on reporting of non-financial risks and opportunities and linkage to the business model (PTF-RNFRO) ‘Towards Sustainable Business: Good Practices in Business Model, Risks and Opportunities Reporting in the EU’, the supporting Supplementary Document: Good Reporting Practices.  Also included in the package of deliverables is a Summary of the report (these documents can be accessed through the attached news item).

On 3 November (10.00 – 11.00), the EFRAG’s PTF-RNFRO is organising a webinar to present its reportTowards Sustainable Businesses: Good Practices for Business Model, Risk and Opportunities, Reporting in the EU and Supplementary Document: Good Reporting Practices

The PTF-RNFRO report, which focused on the reporting on sustainability risks, opportunities linkage to the business model, addresses one of the key elements of the proposal for a CSRD by reviewing the state of play in companies’ reporting practices and identifying examples of good or leading practices. These examples aim to help preparers to benchmark and improve their current reporting practices.

The keynote speakers Pascal Durand, MEP, EP rapporteur on the CSRD and Alain Deckers, European Lab Steering Committee Vice-Chair and head of EC DG FISMA unit Corporate Reporting, Audit & Credit Rating Agencies will set the scene, followed by a panel session involving:

  • Emilie Beral, PTF-RNFRO Member, Executive Director – Methods, Innovation, Quality at Vigeo Eiris
  • Nancy Kamp-Roelands, European Lab Steering Group member and Professor non-financial information, integrated reporting and assurance at the University of Groningen
  • Gloria Mazzocco, PTF-RNFRO Member, Group Accounting Advisory at Enel Group
  • Dawn Slevin, Co-chair of the PTF-RNFRO, Managing Director of ELS Europe

Other speakers at the webinar will be Jean-Paul Gauzès, EFRAG Board President and European Lab Steering Group Chair and Saskia Slomp, EFRAG CEO.
