EIOPA published on 17 August a call for comments on an explanatory note for the variation analysis templates (S.29.01 to S.29.04). The purpose of this note is to provide additional and more granular explanation on the way to interpret/understand the instructions provided in the relevant logs and Q&As. The explanatory note package, consists of a “word” document with the detailed explanations and an “excel” file providing case studies. The explanatory note package is available on EIOPA’s website.
