On 12 July, EIOPA launched a consultation on supervisory reporting and public disclosure in the context of its work linked with the 2020 Solvency II Review. EIOPA will consult on this in two waves. This consultation is the first wave to respond to the respective sections of the Call for advice on the 2020 review of the Solvency II Directive, which the European Commission sent to EIOPA in February.
Stakeholders are invited to provide feedback to the draft advice by 18 October 2019. The final EIOPA advice will be included in the 2020 Solvency II Review Opinion.
