On 15 July, EIOPA released its final Solvency II 2.5.0 XBRL taxonomy and Data Point Models.

Next steps
The final Solvency II 2.5.0 XBRL taxonomy and DPM should be implemented by (re)insurers and is provided to be used from from the 31/12/ 2020 reference date.
EIOPA published on 2 June the ‘Insurance Data Point Model’ and ‘Taxonomy 2.5.0 Public Working Draft’ for review until 30/06/2020 (to be applied by insurance companies for reporting as of 31 December 2020).
