On 21 December, EIOPA published its 2017 Report on the long-term guarantees measures and measures on equity risk
(see link https://eiopa.europa.eu/Publications/Reports/2017-12-20 LTG Report 2017.pdf).
As a result of the enhanced reporting requirements applicable in 2016, the scope of this year’s report has been extended to cover all (re)insurance undertakings in the EEA. In comparison to the 2016 report, there is a new section on the impact on competition and level playing field in the EU insurance market and the 2017 thematic focus is on public disclosure.
