EIOPA has published the technical specifications for the complementary information request of the Solvency II review (here).
The objective of the complementary data request is to collect 1) updated data for the holistic impact assessment with a reference date of end-June 2020, and 2) specific data on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the insurance business.
Insurance and reinsurance undertakings are asked to submit the template to NSAs by 14 September 2020.
A technical information file and the final version of the reporting template will be provided on 8 July 2020.
