On 30 November, EIOPA published the following documents of the Advisory Committee on Proportionality (ACP):
- Advice to EIOPA on proportionality areas in Annual Work Plan (AWP) 2021
- Advice to EIOPA on proportionality areas in Annual Work Plan (AWP) 2022
The Advisory Committee on Proportionality (ACP) is an advisory body that is an integral part of EIOPA.
The committee advises EIOPA on:
- how it should adopt and put in practice proportionality principles in its work
- where proportionality can be improved or prioritised.
These are the first Advices of the ACP and many areas were discussed. For each topic, first the background, existing proportionality approaches and measures are mentioned, thereafter, when available, possible areas of enhancement are presented.
