Today 8 January, the Solvency II review amendment (Directive 2025/2) and IRRD (Directive 2025/1) were published in the Official Journal of the EU (OJEU).
This finalises the legislative processes as per the latest expected timelines.
The Directives will enter into force 20 days after publication in the OJEU.
This means that measures would need to be adopted and published by Member States by 29 January 2027 and apply from 30 January 2027, in accordance with Article 4 on transposition.
