On 19 February, the European Parliament’s ECON Committee held a scrutiny session on the SolveEP ECON scrutiny session for SII and IRRD.pdfncy II (SII) review and the Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive (IRRD). The revised framework is set to apply from 30 January 2027. The session covered key regulatory developments, including the timeline for the SII Delegated Regulation and proportionality concerns.
