EIOPA launches two new IRRD consultations – Resolution colleges and Reporting

On 22 July, EIOPA launched two new IRRD consultations, with a deadline of 31 October. The consultations consider:

1. Resolution Colleges: The draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) set the criteria for establishing these colleges and define their ways of operation.
2. Reporting: The draft Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) set out the procedures and the minimum set of standard forms and templates that insurers should use when submitting to resolution authorities the information required for the preparation of resolution plans

The secretariat of Insurance Europe has submitted final responses to EIOPA’s public consultations related to the Insurance Resolution and Recovery Directive (IRRD), with a deadline of 31 October 2025:
