EIOPA has published its second batch of guidelines and draft technical standards relating to the Insurance Resolution and Recovery Directive (IRRD):
- Draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) on the functioning of resolution colleges (here): specifying provisions on how the colleges should collaborate in developing resolution plans, assessing the resolvability of groups and addressing substantive impediments to resolvability where relevant. They also outline governance principles to be followed in the resolution of cross-border groups.
- Draft Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on resolution reporting (here): setting out the procedures and minimum set of standardised forms and templates that insurers should use when submitting to resolution authorities the information required for the preparation of resolution plans.
An initial review of these documents indicates that no substantive changes were made to the draft versions previously published.
