The EC opened the registration for a public hearing (https://ec.europa.eu/info/events/finance-180629-cmu-retail-investors_en) taking place on 29 June regarding ‘Making the capital markets union work for retail investors’.
Panels will discuss the importance of rebuilding confidence of retail investors, whether the distribution of retail investment products is fit for purpose, how to make sure that the new EU regulatory framework works and address how Fintech solutions can lead to better outcomes for retail investors
