20/02/2019 the European Commission launched a consultation on the update of the non-binding guidelines under the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (2014/95/EU).

The deadline for responses is 20 March 2019.
In January, the EC Technical Expert Group (TEG) on Sustainable Finance published its report on climate-related disclosures. The report contains recommendations for the update of the EC non-binding guidelines on non-financial reporting, specifically with regard to climate-related issues and integrates the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
