On 29 April, ESMA published Guidelines on Enforcement of Sustainability Information under the Transparency Directive.
The guidelines apply to competent authorities supervising listed issuers required to publish sustainability information under the Accounting Directive, including third-country issuers using ESRS or equivalent standards.
These guidelines shall apply to enforcement of sustainability information published from 1 January 2025.
